1About us and these terms
This website is run by On The Trigger Ltd. We trade online only as On The Trigger, and "we", "us" and "our" in these terms mean On The Trigger Ltd.
You can contact us using our contact form or by email at enquiry@onthetrigger.co.uk. Our team works Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm, and replies within 1 to 3 working days.
These terms apply when you buy as a consumer. If you buy from us for a business, for example through a wholesale account, separate terms that we agree with you apply.
2Using our website and your account
- Please make sure the information you give us, including your name, age, address and contact details, is accurate and up to date.
- Keep your account password secure. You're responsible for orders placed through your account unless it has been used without your permission.
- Don't misuse our website, for example by attempting to access it without authorisation, introducing malicious code or placing fraudulent orders. We may suspend or close accounts that are misused.
- We aim to keep the website available, but we can't guarantee it will always be uninterrupted or error-free.
3Age-restricted products and UK law
You must be 18 or over to buy airsoft guns (including two-tones), airsoft gas and pyrotechnics. By placing an order for these items you confirm that you are 18 or over.
Realistic imitation firearms (RIFs)
Under the Violent Crime Reduction Act 2006 we can only sell a RIF to a buyer with a valid defence, such as being a registered skirmisher (for example, through UKARA). We'll ask for evidence of your defence, and we may need to verify it before dispatch. If you can't provide a valid defence, we'll cancel the RIF from your order and refund you in full.
Verification
We may ask for proof of age or identity for any age-restricted item, and couriers may also check. If we can't verify that you're legally allowed to buy an item, we'll cancel it and refund you.
Your responsibilities
- Use, carry, store and transport airsoft products lawfully. Carrying an imitation firearm in a public place without a reasonable excuse is an offence, so always transport it out of sight in a closed bag or case.
- Don't modify products in a way that breaks the law. For example, painting a two-tone so it looks realistic counts as manufacturing a RIF.
- Always wear suitable, rated eye protection when using airsoft products, follow the manufacturer's instructions and your site's rules, and keep products away from children.
- Store and use gas and pyrotechnics safely, following the manufacturer's instructions.
More detail is in our FAQs on UK airsoft law.
4Our products
- We take care to describe and show our products accurately, but images are for illustration. Colours and finishes can vary slightly, for example due to your screen settings or between production runs.
- Product details and specifications are often supplied by the manufacturer. Manufacturers can change specifications without notice.
- Power figures (FPS) are those supplied by the manufacturer or measured on a sample, and individual units can vary. If a specific power level matters to you, please contact us before ordering.
- Please check compatibility, for example of batteries, magazines and parts, before ordering. Ask us if you're unsure.
- Each product page shows whether the item is held in the UK or at our European warehouse. All products are subject to availability.
5Prices and payment
- All prices are in pounds sterling (£) and include VAT where applicable. Delivery charges are added at checkout and shown before you pay.
- We accept Visa and Mastercard debit and credit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal (including PayPal finance), Klarna and Clearpay. Pay-later and finance options are provided by those companies and are subject to their own approval and terms.
- Payment is taken when you place your order. Card payments are handled securely by our payment provider, and we never see or store your full card details.
- Occasionally a product may be listed at the wrong price. If the correct price is higher than the price shown, we'll contact you before dispatch to ask whether you'd like to go ahead at the correct price or cancel. If the mistake is obvious and could reasonably have been recognised by you, we don't have to supply the item at the incorrect price.
6Placing an order
- When you place an order, you'll receive an order confirmation email. This confirms we've received your order. It doesn't mean we've accepted it.
- Our acceptance, and the contract between us, is formed when we dispatch your order and email you to confirm it, with your tracking code.
- If your order includes items from both our UK stock and our European warehouse, they may be dispatched separately. The contract for each item is formed when it is dispatched.
If we can't accept your order
We may decline or cancel all or part of an order, for example if an item is out of stock, has been listed at an obviously incorrect price, can't be legally sold to you (see section 3), we suspect fraud, or we can't deliver to your address. If we do, we'll let you know and refund anything you've paid for those items in full.
7Delivery
We deliver to UK addresses only. Delivery options, prices and estimated delivery times are shown at checkout and explained on our Delivery Information page. Delivery times are estimates, and we're not responsible for delays caused by events outside our control (see section 14).
- Risk in the goods passes to you when they're delivered to you, or to someone or somewhere you've nominated, such as a neighbour or safe place.
- Ownership of the goods passes to you once we've received payment in full.
- If a delivery can't be made and the parcel is returned to us, we'll contact you to arrange redelivery or a refund.
8Your right to cancel
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 you can change your mind and cancel your order within 14 days of the day after you receive your goods. If your order arrives in more than one delivery, the 14 days run from the day after you receive the last item.
How to cancel
Tell us using our contact form (choose Returns), or by any other clear statement, with your name, address and order number. You then have 14 days from telling us to send the goods back. Our Returns Policy explains how.
Your refund
- We'll refund the price you paid for the goods and, if you cancel your whole order, the cost of standard delivery. If you chose a faster or more expensive delivery option, we'll refund up to the cost of our standard delivery.
- You pay the cost of returning the goods to us.
- We'll refund you within 14 days of receiving the goods back, or of you providing evidence that you've sent them back, whichever is sooner, using your original payment method.
- We may reduce your refund if the value of the goods has gone down because you've handled them more than was necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and how they work, as you could in a shop.
When the right to cancel doesn't apply
- Sealed goods that aren't suitable for return for health protection or hygiene reasons once they've been unsealed after delivery, including eye protection.
- Goods made to your specifications or clearly personalised, such as custom two-tone finishes.
9Faulty goods and your legal rights
We're under a legal duty to supply goods that are of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015:
- Up to 30 days: if your goods are faulty, you can get an immediate refund.
- Up to 6 months: if your goods can't be repaired or replaced, you're entitled to a full refund in most cases.
- Up to 6 years (5 years in Scotland): if your goods don't last a reasonable length of time, you may be entitled to some money back.
Faults caused by misuse, accident, modification or normal wear and tear aren't covered. Our Returns Policy explains how to report a fault and how we handle repairs, replacements and refunds. For detailed information about your rights, visit Citizens Advice.
10Our responsibility for loss or damage
- If we fail to comply with these terms, we're responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breach or our failure to use reasonable care and skill. We're not responsible for loss or damage that isn't foreseeable.
- We don't exclude or limit our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, for breach of your legal rights in relation to the goods, or for defective products under the Consumer Protection Act 1987.
- We only supply products for domestic and private use. We're not liable to you for any loss of profit, loss of business, business interruption or loss of business opportunity.
- Except where the loss is caused by our negligence or a defective product, we're not responsible for loss or damage caused by a product being used unlawfully, modified, or used without suitable eye protection or against the manufacturer's instructions.
11Promotions, discount codes and free delivery
- Promotions and discount codes are subject to any conditions shown with them, can't be exchanged for cash, and unless stated otherwise only one code can be used per order.
- Free delivery applies to qualifying UK orders of £100 or more, excluding Highlands and Islands postcodes, as shown at checkout.
- We may change or withdraw promotions at any time, but this won't affect orders already placed.
12Website content
The content of this website, including text, images, logos and design, belongs to us or is used with permission. You may view and print it for your personal use, but you must not copy, reproduce or use it commercially without our written permission. Brand names and logos belong to their respective owners.
13Your personal information
We only use your personal information as set out in our Privacy Policy.
14Events outside our control
We're not responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control, such as courier or postal disruption, extreme weather, supplier failures or industrial action. If this happens we'll contact you as soon as possible and take steps to minimise the effect. If there's a significant delay, you can contact us to cancel and receive a refund for any items you haven't received.
15Other important terms
- We may transfer our rights and obligations under these terms to another organisation. We'll tell you if this happens, and it won't affect your rights.
- You may only transfer your rights under these terms to someone else with our written agreement.
- This contract is between you and us. No one else has any rights to enforce its terms.
- Each paragraph of these terms operates separately. If a court decides any of them is unlawful, the rest remain in full force.
- If we don't insist on you doing something you're required to do under these terms, or delay in doing so, that doesn't mean we can't take steps against you later.
16Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time, for example to reflect changes in the law or how we operate. The terms that apply to your order are those shown on our website when you placed it. These terms were last updated on 28 October 2026.
17Complaints and disputes
If you have a problem, please contact us first. We'll do our best to resolve it quickly and fairly.
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. You can bring legal proceedings in the courts of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland, you can bring proceedings in either the Scottish or the English courts, and if you live in Northern Ireland, in either the Northern Irish or the English courts.
