What to leave at home

  • Valuables and jewellery. Rings and watches get caught and damaged.
  • Real knives or anything that looks like a real weapon. Most sites ban them.
  • Alcohol. No site allows drinking before or during games.
  • Laser pointers. Banned at virtually all sites for eye safety.

Transporting your kit. Always keep replicas in a closed bag or case, go straight to the site and straight home, and never take a replica out in public. More in our UK airsoft law guide.

More help for game day

Our first game kit bag guide explains each item in more detail. Work out how many BBs to bring with the Airsoft BB Calculator, and check your battery with the Airsoft Battery Calculator.

Frequently asked questions

What should I bring to my first airsoft game?

Sturdy boots, long trousers, a long-sleeved top, gloves, a hat, at least 2 litres of water, lunch and snacks, a change of clothes and cash or a card. If you’re hiring, the site provides the gun, eye protection and BBs. Tick "It’s my first game" above for the extra first-game items.

What should I wear to airsoft?

Clothes you don’t mind getting muddy or torn: boots with ankle support, long trousers and a long-sleeved top, in dark or muted colours. Layers help with changeable UK weather. Our Airsoft Camo Picker helps if you want proper camouflage.

What do I need for a milsim weekend?

Everything for a day game plus sleeping kit, shelter, a head torch with a red light, food for the whole event, a radio, a power bank and spare batteries. Choose "Milsim" above to see the full list.

Can I print this checklist?

Yes. Use the Print button to print just the list, and your ticks are saved in your browser on this device, so you can pack over a few evenings.

Missing something?

Pick up the essentials before game day, with same-day dispatch on UK stock ordered before 2pm.

Always check your site’s own kit list and rules before game day.
